PLH Online have teamed up with Pearson VUE Test Centres and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) to deliver the Scottish Personal Licence Holder qualification, known as the SCPLH, in a secure electronic environment.
PLH Online launched a pioneering, new e-learning solution to Personal Licence Holder training in April 2009 and since then have provided a huge number of individuals and companies across Scotland with a welcome solution to their licensing training needs.
PLH Online enables users to achieve full certification in accordance with the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 or the Licensing (England and Wales) Act 2003. The modules are fully approved by SQA who are accredited to award the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (Off-Sales and On-Sales) and the QCF Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders.

This will provide flexibility and choice for our candidates in when and where they undertake the course, benefits which are key in this busy and diverse industry."
Pearson VUE are the world's leading computer based testing company and have the largest network of owned testing centres in the UK. Pearson VUE provide learners with a secure testing environment and are conveniently located throughout the UK. 80% of the population, either at work or at home, are no more than 20 miles from their nearest Pearson VUE test centre. The public will best know Pearson VUE as the host of the DVLA driving licence theory test.
PLH Online are now set to launch the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders in England and Wales in April.
PLH Online costs £125 + VAT which includes access to an online licensing training module for a period of 7 days, the SQA licensing handbook, an online SCPLH exam in a Pearson VUE test centre plus one free resit if required and a fully accredited SCPLH certificate from SQA on successful completion of the exam.
